UNICEF, Formula E, Yourban 2030 and ENGIM together for the rights of children and adolescents with a new eco-murals in the San Paolo district of Rome.
Also for 2023, UNICEF and Formula E meet on the ground of solidarity and sustainability, giving the Capital - thanks to the artistic care and collaboration with Yourban 2030 - a new eco-murals made with photocatalytic and air-purifying paints, to talk to the city about the environment and childhood, but also about the direct connection between the two themes.
With Walking into the future, UNICEF confirms its international partnership with Formula E which, launched in April 2021, has seen the involvement of 4 countries: United States (New York), United Kingdom (London), Mexico (Mexico City) and Italy (Rome).

The project
Walking into the future
The work was created by the Italian street artist GeometricBang on the facade of the headquarters of the ENGIM professional training center in the Roman neighborhood of San Paolo.
Not just any ecomurales, but an awareness-raising work aimed at the entire community, policy makers and the territory that tells, through color patterns, iconic images and stylized figures, the rights of children and adolescents to education, clean air, a world of peace and a better future.
The Artist
GeometricBang
Born in Lodi, Italy in 1984, GeometricBang began his artistic journey with the encounter in 1998 with the world of graffiti, thanks to the many important writers who live and frequent his hometown. His work is based on color, the study of shapes and textures, which mixes with the development of characters, animals, objects, which define and characterize the artist's work.
"For this work in collaboration with UNICEF I wanted to represent a little girl walking, figuratively, towards the future" explains GeometricBang. “A more sustainable future, more attentive to biodiversity, to respect for planet Earth, that sees in nature and everything that surrounds it something to protect and respect because it is aware of the importance that everything that lives around us is fundamental for our incredible planet.”
The ENGIM
Ente Nazionale Giuseppini del Murialdo
Ente Nazionale Giuseppini del Murialdo is a FOUNDATION, which operates at a national and international level, at the service of young people and workers for the integral training of the person and the development of professionalism and for personal and social promotion. Through the analysis of the training needs of the territory in which it operates, it designs and implements adequate and coherent training and orientation initiatives with the desire to give the world of work people capable of working for the common good. ENGIM is a network system that includes the legally recognized regional ENGIMs, and ENGIM San Paolo performs a public utility service with a clear and explicit reference to an educational proposal based on the pedagogical values of interpersonal encounters and the valorization of diversity, listening, solidarity.
