Strength Arrives on the Walls of Hell's Kitchen in New York
Yourban 2030 returns to New York, once again in collaboration with Airlite, to continue the narrative begun in May 2025 with Fabio Petani's Botanic Pulse. This collaboration features another Italian artist, Tommaso Spazzini Villa, who for the occasion has created the eco-murals "Strength," literally "strength," like that of roots.
Looking at Goal 16 of the 2030 Agenda, which aims to create peaceful, equitable, and inclusive societies, Strength represents roots, which are both a link to our heritage and a glimpse into the future.

17 walls for 17 goals of change
Strength is the second chapter of the Walls of Tomorrow project, conceived and launched by Yourban2030, which is bringing the narrative of Agenda 2030 to the walls of the United States through the language of art.
17 walls for 17 goals of change, sustainability, environment, and community; 17 walls to tell the story of our planet and its protection through 17 urban artworks by 17 artists.
A journey that unites artists and sensibilities to give a face and voice, with a contemporary touch, to the protection of the planet. Today, with the Walls of Tomorrow series, it crosses the ocean, bringing Italian creativity to the heart of New York.
The Artist
TOMMASO SPAZZINI VILLA
Tommaso Spazzini Villa (Milan, 1986) lives and works in Rome. He graduated in Art History from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and in Political Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. While studying Art History, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, specializing in drawing and painting techniques.
"Roots are not remnants of the past: they are architectures of belonging. They spread silently, not to cling, but to hold. By painting them, I am not only invoking memory, but proposing a model: one in which what is hidden supports what is visible, and where strength begins in the invisible," explains the artist.
