METRO Trein BECOMES A TRAVELING ART GALLERY
From May 2024 for five months, the carriages of a Metro A train in Rome will be transformed into a traveling art gallery with Mind The Earth, a site-specific installation by IRAE edition born from the planning of Yourban 2030 and promoted by the same non-profit, in collaboration with ATAC Roma, media partner of HF4 communication.
Entering the metro the passenger is welcomed by a surreal world of images that accompany the traveler on a journey, inviting him to continue it following the broader narrative of the IRAE magazine, an editorial product halfway between a magazine and art book that deals with the themes of sustainability and the environment using photography, art and fashion.

A "traveling" exhibition
Among changed faces, animal metamorphoses, plants with different natures, colours, sounds and unusual images, the traveling exhibition curated by Angelo Cricchi and Valeria Ribaldi takes to the seats, ceilings and walls of the capital's orange line train the shots and images of the IRAE editorial project with works by Andreco, Matteo Basilè, Nicola Bertellotti, Giacomo Costa, Angelo Cricchi, Michele Guido, Agostino Iacurci, Shinya Masuda, Supinatra, Wu Yung Sen.
A fundraiser that brings together NFTs, music and audiovisuals to suggest a concept as simple as it is fundamental for understanding the present: where there is a mother who runs away, there is a wrong world.

The Soundtrack
The exhibition is accompanied by a QR Code which allows you to listen to the album of the award-winning Italian composer Marco Del Bene, thus giving life to a moment of collective sharing, transforming the journey of tourists and Romans into an unprecedented visit "augmented" by images and sounds, in which to encounter art, music and discover with them the cry for help from our oceans.
